The Hotspot is underground

belowzero is a hidden dining treasure situated on Heddon Street in Central London. It is not an obvious spot for a restaurant of its kind but, certainly a fun discovery.
Upon entry staff make every effort to seat you at a private yet convenient table in either the wolf bar or reindeer lounge each with a subtle decor touch that differentiates the experience. Water and bread are standard offerings however, the menu is much more exotic than you may expect. From fresh reindeer to guinea fowl, you are in for a treat of exciting combinations. The menu is also very accommodating to strong vegetarian dishes that are just as strong. I highly recommend the Ballontine of Chicken, basil, mozzarella and tomato with pesto dressing. This is a starter that is juicy, and rich in all the right places. If you like to play it safe but, want to test the waters, this is a good way to start. Then for main the Grilled Rib Eye Steak is a succulent choice, the meat is prepared well with just the right additions. And lastly, the dessert menu is jaw dropping, for most of us this is the favourite part of the meal and the apple tarte tatin with calvado's ice cream is amazing!!! If you have nothing else, this is a must have.........
The atmosphere is live, the music sets a sensual tone, while the people that dine here are trend focused making it a stylish hotspot. The staff live true to the restaurants reputation for service. They are attentive, friendly, they talk you through the menu and do so pleasantly and most of all make you feel like this is a home away from home. Dining is a momentous occasion amongst friends and belowzero is the where you can share.......
